Paul Hardman CEng MIStructE MICE
Paul Hardman is the founder and director of Hardman Structural Engineers, which he set up in 2001.
Prior to this he worked at Balfour Beatty Fairclough as a graduate site engineer which gave him invaluable practical experience. He later moved to Curtins Consulting Engineers as a structural engineer, becoming chartered in 1993.
In 1994 he volunteered in Tanzania, working as a Structural Engineer overseeing the building of a medical dispensary. On returning to the UK, he moved to London taking up a position with Price and Myers.
In 1999 Paul became a lecturer in structures at the University of East London, where he retains close links. Over the course of his career Paul has tutored in architectural schools at Westminster University, East London University and the Bartlett School of Architecture.
Paul’s tutoring experience is an integral part of the company and he is committed to investing in staff. We regularly provide opportunities for school work experience, year out placement students and weekly lunchtime training sessions for our staff as they work towards chartered status.
