Job Description: We are looking for a talented Senior Structural Engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience to assume the role of Senior/Project Engineer. This position involves overseeing various projects and managing a team of graduate engineers. The ideal candidate will bring leadership skills, technical expertise, and a passion for mentoring junior professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects across multiple sectors, including residential, commercial, public, educational, and temporary works design, from conception to completion.
  • Develop and maintain strong client and architect relationships, actively participating in new project proposals and fee reviews.
  • Conduct conceptual and feasibility stage designs, followed by comprehensive reports and DTM presentations.
  • Independently check and review detail designs to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Evaluate tender submissions by contractors and provide valuable suggestions to clients.
  • Conduct regular site visits during key structural construction stages to ensure safety and adherence to design specifications.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of graduate engineers, technicians, and other professionals involved in a project.
  • Deliver regular technical training sessions to graduate engineers and placement students.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Civil Engineering/Structural Engineering degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant Structural Engineering experience.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and experienced in working with design codes, specifically Eurocode.
  • Strong conceptual design skills and ability to work in 3D.
  • Excellent attention to detail with proficient sketching ability.
  • Practical detailing sensibility.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a team.
