Moatfield Community Shelter

This play area structure is formed in steel and timber. The detailing of all junctions had to be carefully considered in relation to both their safety to handling by children and durability.

The structure is essentially a series of cantilevered steel columns with infill timber wall and floor panels. The infill panels are used to brace the columns wherever possible.
