Adelaide Road

A high specification five storey concrete frame building, including a basement, has been constructed to form nine luxury residential flats. The building is positioned tight to the site boundaries to maximise internal floor space with edge details carefully considered to facilitate this. The basement and ground floor levels are formed from a reinforced concrete box. Flat slabs were utilised to maximise clear headroom. Concrete columns were incorporated into wall lines to avoid intruding into rooms.

The design required consideration of rainwater attenuation in accordance with legislation restricting discharge into public sewers.
